EHIC – European Health Insurance Card

Going to Europe for business or holiday? The EHIC card will be essential as well as travel insurance.

EHIC card (European Health Insurance Card), gives the holder cover for any treatment required as a result of illness or an accident in country within the EU.It replaces the former E111 form.

The card does not cover all medical treatments, therefore getting travel insurance is recommended.
